We're saddened to hear the passing of Alex Cord, who portrayed Michael Coldsmith Briggs III in three seasons of Airwolf, which starred Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine and Jean Bruce Scott. Cord was married two times throughout his life. Prior to his first marriage, the actor dated a woman named Mary Ann Hutchinson, though it is unclear how long they were together. With Hutchinson, he had a daughter named Toni Aluisa and a son, Wayne Viespi. Cord tied the knot with English actress Joanna Pertett in 1968. Their marriage lasted over two decades and they divorced in 1989. Cord died surrounded by friends in his home in Valley View, Texas, on Monday around 6:30 p.m. Ct. He was 88.
We're saddened to hear the passing of Jan-Michael Vincent. Jan who became nationally recognizable on the 1980s television series “Airwolf,” but whose career later foundered, in part because of problems with drugs and alcohol, died on Feb. 10 at a hospital near his home in Asheville, N.C. He was 73. The cause was cardiac arrest, according to a death certificate released by the Buncombe County Register of Deeds. His death was not widely reported until Friday.

Martin E. Brooks, best known for his portrayal of the scientist Dr. Rudy Wells on the 1970s ABC series The Six Million Dollar Man and its spinoff, The Bionic Woman, and as Prof. Rudolph Jennings in Airwolf, has died. He was 90.
Brooks died Monday in Studio City of natural causes, Avatar and Titanic producer Jon Landau told The Hollywood Reporter. Brooks was the “soul mate” of Landau’s mother, Edie (also a producer), for the past 20 years, he said. The two grew up in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where they had been friends as children, and reconnected in 1993 after her husband died.
